Golf Week started with the John Cain Sponsored J A Cain Trophy. The popular winner with a 63 nett was Gary Bull. Best Gross was once again Godfrey Kelly.
On Sunday Black Grace Cowley sponsored a rain affected AM AM. The weather did not affect Kevin Middleton, Mark Hide, Brian Horne and Ian Morrison who won by 6 shots with and amazing 92 points! The Club sponsored fourball on Monday was won by Steve Lester and Mark Chatel with 47 point, Steve round in 67 gross on his own.
Mannin Media sponsored a Mens Stableford on the Wednesday which attracted a big field and over 40 visitors! Big hitting Junior Richard Gault won with 42 points off his 4 handicap.
On Friday there was a new event for Seniors.In windy conditions visitor Eric Corkish won with a fine 38 points. Lady Captain Yvonne Crane won the Ladies prize with 29 points. On Sunday the Tower Insurance Mixed Greensome was won by John and Jessie Perry with a 67.2 nett just pipping Robert and Mair Gardner. John and Jessie had 3 two’s on the card which always helps. The week was a great success with record number playing. Thanks to all our sponsors for their support and all who played in the events.
